Required Skills:

8 Years of directly related experience in systems administration and analysis.

Ability to support critical shift work year around.

IATII, IT II, with CE certifications in either Windows Server, VMware, SharePoint, or similar technology.

Responsibilities:

Manage the functionality and efficiency of a computer groups operating on one or more operating systems.

Maintain the integrity and security of servers and systems.

Establish administrator and service accounts.

Maintain system documentation.

Interact with users and evaluate vendor products.

Provide recommendations for hardware and software purchases, coordinate installation and provide backup recovery.

Develop and monitor policies and standards for computing resource allocations.

Ability to provide programming support in administrative languages.

Develop and implement testing strategies and document results.

Provide advice and training to end-users.

Provide guidance and mentoring/leadership to less-experienced team members.

Maintain current knowledge of assigned relevant technologies.

Participate in special projects (as requested).

Duties:

Global Enterprise Fabric (GEF) O&M System Admin Team Member

Provide Tier 1 and 2 support to the GEFS3 Platform

Support GEFS3 by configuring, maintaining, and managing virtualization infrastructure

NSX support and troubleshooting

VM/Capacity Management

Manage patches, STIGs, configurations and O&Ms for FLEXPOD (UCS, NETAPP, etc.)

Qualifications:

Contract requires:

CND-IS certification (CEH, CSA+, GICSP, or SSCP)

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Certification. I.e. CompTIA Security+

DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II Computing Environment (CE) Certification as determined by the Program Manager within 6 months of employment
