Nemean Solutions named to Vet100 list for second consecutive year!

Press Release: 2 November, 2023

Sierra Vista, AZ-based Nemean Solutions, LLC (Nemean) was named to the Vet100 list for the second consecutive year. Inc. Business Media, in partnership with Syracuse University's D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF), has announced the seventh annual Vet100 list—a compilation of the nation’s fastest-growing veteran-owned and -operated businesses. The ranking was born out of the iconic Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies based in the U.S. Both distinctions are considered hallmarks of entrepreneurial success. Nemean was one of 42 companies on this year’s list named to a previous Vet100 list.

“As a military veteran myself, having served for 24 years, and as a Co-owner and CEO of Nemean Solutions I understand firsthand the value our nation’s military veterans bring with them in the areas of leadership, training, and experience just to name a few.” said Nemean Solutions CEO, Simon E. Ortiz. “This year we are tremendously excited and honored to be named and ranked alongside many other successful veteran owned companies on the Vet100 list for the second year in a row.”

“The Vet100 recognition is further testament to Nemean’s commitment to fostering career opportunities for our Nation’s service members. As a retiree following 29 years of USAF active-duty service, I’m able to personally attest to the dedication and values instilled in transitioning members of our military.” said Chris Wegner, Nemean’s COO, “Hiring Veterans is not only the right thing to do, it’s the glue for helping small companies like Nemean capitalize on every resource being a value-added member of the team. Veterans want to continue to serve, and I’m proud to be part of an organization affording the ability to stay close to the important National Security mission.”

“Nemean is deeply honored to make the Vet100 list for the second year in a row. Nemean is a veteran company. Our largest customer is Department of Defense, including the US Army, Air Force, Navy and United States Special Operations Command. It makes sense that our workforce fluctuates anywhere between 70-80% veteran and veteran family members. Our corporate leadership team, our amazing board at the Ho'okahua Hawaiian Foundation (HHF) Company, and many of our corporate partners are all operated by amazing veterans or veteran family members - and we are committed to supporting our military, our veterans and their communities,” said Craig Mount, President and Co-Owner, Nemean Solutions.

The 2024 Vet100 honorees will be formally recognized in March during IVMF’s Veteran EDGE Conference, which will take place in Dallas, Texas.

Founded in 2017, Nemean currently provides military intelligence, cybersecurity, IT services, computer engineering, military concept and capability development, programmatic support, and professional services supporting the Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors, with current operations in fourteen states. Nemean was ranked on the Inc. 5000 list for two consecutive years and has been recognized as a three-time Department of Labor HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion recipient for hiring and supporting veterans.

In addition to being an SBA 8(a) NHO small business that is eligible for up to $100 million dollars per contract as a direct/sole source award, Nemean maintains a Defense Contracting Auditing Agency (DCAA) audited accounting system and is ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2013 certified for Quality Management and Information Security. Nemean is a GSA 8(a) STARS III and GSA MAS Prime Contractor.
