“Nemean Solutions proudly announces that Mr. Antwan Long has been commissioned as an Ensign (O-1) in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve. Mr. Long provides onsite contractor support as an HR Administrative & Program Support Officer for the Office of the Chief of Chaplains. He earned his commission through the Coast Guard's highly competitive Selected Reserve Direct Commission pathway. This specialized track selects active-duty military members and civilian professionals with advanced education, active federal security clearances, and rare subject matter expertise to fast-track them into the Coast Guard Reserve as Officers.

To achieve this milestone, Ensign Long graduated from the intensive five-week Reserve Officer Candidate Indoctrination (ROCI) course at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy in New London, Connecticut. The rigorous pipeline instills military customs, maritime law enforcement fundamentals, and advanced leadership skills into incoming technical experts. In his civilian capacity, Ensign Long will remain embedded directly with government personnel to provide seamless administrative and program support to the Office of the Chief of Chaplains. He will balance this onsite career with part-time military service, deploying to support active-duty Coast Guard forces in maritime security, disaster response, and environmental protection. This commission reflects the unwavering dedication, integrity, and professionalism that have consistently earned him praise from senior government officials, marking a significant milestone on his continued path of leadership in both his civilian and military life.”
