Nemean Solutions makes the Inc. 5000 list as one of the fastest growing firms in the United States.

Nemean Solutions, LLC (Nemean), a Sierra Vista, AZ based Small Business Administration (SBA) certified 8(a) Native Hawaiian Organization (NHO) earned a spot on the Inc. Magazine’s “Inc. 5000,” a formal list of the fastest growing private companies in the United States.

In its first year of eligibility, Nemean ranked 158 out of the top 5000 private companies that made the list in terms of revenue growth, earning a place in the top 5% of the Inc. 5000 list.  Nemean also ranked 5th in the state of Arizona in terms of growth.  In the government services category, the company ranked 4th nationwide and 1st in Arizona.  It was also the only Sierra Vista, AZ based company to make the list in 2022 and the first since at least 2015 (the extent of online records).  Rankings are ordered by the percentage of the company’s revenue growth rate.  Since its inception five years ago, Nemean revenue has grown by 3,221%.  Revenue growth percentage was calculated and validated based on the company’s 2021 annual tax returns and independent financial audits and compared to its 2017 revenue.  Nemean met the minimum number of operating years for eligibility and submitted its application, revenue verification, and tax documents in April.  Nemean, along with the other members of this year’s Inc 5000, were informed of their rankings earlier this week.

“We are very excited to be recognized by The Inc. 5000,” said Simon E. Ortiz, Nemean’s CEO and Co-Founder. “This is a direct reflection of all our hardworking employees across the entire company.  It’s been an exciting year of growth and being ranked by The Inc 5000 certainly is a tremendous boost of confidence for our young company. I look forward to continuing this year’s success and earning this prestigious accomplishment again.  I think it indicates we are delivering superior solutions for our nation’s military service members, contracting officers and government clients.”

Craig Mount, Nemean President and Co-Founder says, “We were surprised by where we ranked and are just happy to be included.  There are so many great companies that make the list, we are honored to be included with them. Every day our goal is to try to get just a little bit better at one or two things. Making the Inc. 5000 list means we are getting a little better at winning new contracts and performing on them.”  Mount continued, “However, we have a lot of support – from our great partners at the Ho'okahua Hawaiian Foundation, to our Nemean Trideum Joint Venture mentors at Trideum Corporation, to our representatives at Bank of America who keep us financed through growth, and most of all our amazing team of professionals across the country- “the Pride” - who earn that title every day.  And of course, our headquarters and leadership team, Eric, Michelle, Justin, David and Armando, who take so much care and interest in our employees and missions – they’re unbreakable.”

“This is an exciting time to be part of Nemean,” says Armando Barnhart, Nemean’s Operations Manager.  “We are only as successful as the team we have around us.  Without our employees, the Pride, doing outstanding things daily; we wouldn’t be here.  It’s been a lot of hard work, long nights, and effort to ensure we have the right personnel in the right places.  I give all the credit to our workforce, and next year our goal is break into the top 100.”

Mount added, “We get asked a lot about how we got started. We have had incredible community support since Nemean was founded though organizations like the Cochise College Small Business Development Center, the Arizona Regional Economic Development Foundation, and even the local newspaper the Sierra Vista Herald-Review, have all supported us in their own way.  Either with advice or touting our team’s successes these local organizations have been available and help make Sierra Vista a great place to start and grow a business.”

Due to ranking in the top 500, Nemean will also be featured in the September issue of Inc. Magazine.

Founded in 2017, Nemean currently provides military intelligence, cybersecurity, IT services, computer engineering, military concept and capability development, programmatic support, and professional services supporting the Defense, Intelligence and Aerospace sectors, with current operations in thirteen states.  In addition to Nemean ranking on the Inc 5000, the company has been recognized as a Department of Labor HIRE Vets Platinum Medallion recipient for hiring and supporting veterans, is a three-time Arizona and Cochise County SBA Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Success Award Winner, and the 2021 SBA Arizona Veteran-Owned Small Business representative.
